Due to family illness, I needed to be out these three days. Students continued our introduction to the cell and its parts through the following assignments:
SN 36-38 Cell Vocabulary (Chapter 2, Lessons 1, 2 & 4) Discovering Cells: Check your Understanding Handout Discovering Cells: Lesson quiz Chapter 2 Review pg. 77-79 There will be no formal vocabulary quiz for these words; instead we will be using them throughout this unit and throughout the year on assignments, quizzes and tests. Students should know what they mean and be able to use them correctly in class.
Students got an introduction to the Life videos that we will be watching throughout this semester. If you were absent that day, please watch the video below and write a short summary to turn in to me. This will count as your class grade for this assignment. Today we began planting the seeds for the Wisconsin Fast Plants(WFP) and the Radishes. We will be observing the life cycle of the WFP and will use the radishes to feed the Cabbage White Moths.
